Founder, Prepwell
Prepwell was born in Royal Oak, Michigan when Tom set out to solve a problem he felt every day in his own kitchen—meal prep shouldn’t be messy, chaotic, or uninspiring. With nearly ten years of product engineering experience, he began building a system that makes prep feel organized, seamless, and enjoyable, using materials you'd be proud to keep out on the counter.
In 2025, Tom launched the Chef Station on Kickstarter, where 1,379 backers rallied behind the idea. That early support fueled the journey Prepwell is on today: crafting thoughtful tools that help people cook more, eat better, and enjoy being in their kitchen.
